Confiscation of Public Properties, Obstruction of Press Freedom By Burmese Government

On 16th August, 2019 in the morning, The Burmese authority forcibly evicted three local families from their houses at the Airport quarter in Ann town in central Arakan. While a journlist tries to cover the news the police blocked them and did not let the journalist to enter the house where the destructions were taking place.

The police said to journalist ” This is restricted area and you are not allowed to enter”

The is the violation of two human rights categories of the universal declarations of human rights (UDHR) by the Burmese authorities. The two categories are the destruction and confiscation of public properties and the obstruction of media and press freedom.
